The Urology Centre in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen consists of a team of four urologists/urological surgeons – Dr. med. Birgit Götting, Dr. med. Peter Frankenau, Dr. med. Hans-Jörg Kämmerer and Mr. Riman Yaghchi, M.D. (Damascus University), – dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and management of all urological conditions.
We provide highest quality and comprehensive medical service to female and male patients with urological complaints utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and medical treatment including urological surgery and tumour therapy (e.g. chemotherapy for outpatients).
The practice is equipped with a modern operating theatre. Additionally, we are consultant urological surgeons at the Rotkreuz Hospital (near the Frankfurt Zoo) and the Maingau Hospital located in Frankfurt’s city centre.
Our service to patients reflects current best medical practice in the field of urology, urological surgery and urological oncology (involving the diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the urinary system, namely the bladder, kidneys, testicles and prostate) as well as andrology (involving problems of the reproductive system, namely infertility, and men’s health in general). We provide personalized counselling on all medical and surgical options available.
The practice is located in the heart of Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, Frankfurt’s well-known quarter on the southern side of the River Main. It is easily accessible by public transport and by car (with a multi-storey car park just opposite), and fully equipped for wheelchair users.
All doctors are board certified by the Landesärztekammer Hessen (Medical Association of the State of Hesse), and they are members of the Berufsverband Deutscher Urologen (German Urological Association). Additionally, Dr. Peter Frankenau is a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Andrologie (German Society of Andrology) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Urologie (German Society of Urology), Dr. Hans-Jörg Kämmerer is a member of the Deutsche Kontinenz Gesellschaft (German Continence Society), Riman Yaghchi, M.D. is a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (F.E.B.U) and a member of both the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Urologie (German Society of Urology) and the European Association of Urology.
The practice is a Prostate Cancer Centre certified by the Deutsche Krebsgesellschaft (German Cancer Society).
